Thank you, Lord for all your many blessings!

I went to church this morning as I do every Sunday. I have to admit that when I arrived there, I was not feeling so wonderful. I wanted to be there. My mind just was not really there and in tune with what was going on around me. I was actually even feeling a little sorry for myself. As we started to sing, I joined in. As we voiced our prayer requests, I spoke out what my requests were. As the service progressed, I started feeling much better. The pastor's sermons have been about witnessing to those around us and those of us that wanted to, came up front for prayer. At the close of the prayer, one dear Christian woman said for me to come over to her and asked the ladies to gather round. She and the other women had prayer with me. My heart has been heavy lately concerning a few things in mine and my husbands life. One of them is our housing situation. I PRAISE GOD for that dear lady in my church who has a knowledge of the power of prayer and took me under her wing this morning. God already started answering prayer BEFORE I got out of the church doors. I want to walk through all the open doors God leads me to.

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Fall Sunset Drive

When I last posted, I wanted to add some pictures but I did not have any to add. Today I went for a sunset drive to catch some of the beautiful scenes around where I live. I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed the drive.

Autumn in New York

I love this time of year. The leaves are really starting to be beautiful. I was cleaning at one of my jobs this week and I opened the front door and the scent that hit me in the face was a scent that I wish Yankee Candle could capture. It was that spicy outdoor fall smell. It was awesome. A neat thought just came to me. I think I was smelling God's potpourri!

I was driving last night at sunset. It was amazing to see how beautiful the sun was as it was shining on the colorful leaves. It was glowing. I wish I had a camera at that moment. I do not think I could capture what I was seeing though. I would have to be an expert photographer. And that I am not.

I miss you, Dad

In a few minutes it will be 7:00 p.m. That is the time (one year ago today) that God called my dad home to heaven. I miss you so much, Dad. It must be wonderful to be with Jesus.
